The more worldly and reflective among us have said this many times before, but we truly are spoilt when it comes to the sheer variety of random, stimulating stuff that we get bombarded with day after day. Even the range of colors that we are exposed to is something that, to some people of another place and time, may seem like something crazy. 

We are all too aware, usually, that there are downsides to this, but that doesn't mean that we can't take some time away from the existential angst to enjoy the benefits of this crazy period of time. Memes are here for our enjoyment, and there are plenty of them to be digging through when we desire that particular distraction from everything else. Knowing that we exist at the exact same point that they do should give us more appreciation of the silliness that they bring to our lives.
